Globular Springtails 11 Jan, 2017 Bar Harbor

ID provided by Maine Master Naturalists  (Thank you!), despite my terrible photos. These springtails are at the same jelly fungus where I photographed them on Jan 05. Since then the temperature dropped to 0 degrees F., then it snowed, then it rained and the wind blew, almost 30 mph gusts, and it was up to almost 50 degrees F. today. But these little (1/16 inch) creatures are crawling busily on the same jelly fungus, waving their antennae in all directions and carrying on doing whatever it is that they do.
